Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is tagged #LI-REMOTE, signaling a remote-eligible position — a meaningful green flag for location-flexible workers. However, there are important caveats to assess before booking a one-way ticket.

  • Client-facing demands: The role requires regular senior-level client communication and relationship management, which typically implies synchronous availability. Expect US business hours (ET/CT) to be the de facto standard, limiting true async flexibility.
  • Travel requirements: The posting explicitly states domestic and/or international travel including overnight stays. For nomads, this is a double-edged sword — built-in travel is covered, but you'll need a stable base for client meetings.
  • Boston preferred: While remote is permitted, candidates local to Boston, MA are preferred, suggesting occasional in-person expectations. Nomads based in US-friendly time zones (ET ± 2h) will have the easiest time.

Salary vs. nomad cost-of-living comparison ($100K–$139K USD):

  • Lisbon, Portugal: ~$2,500–$3,200/mo comfortable living — this salary offers substantial savings potential.
  • Bangkok, Thailand: ~$1,500–$2,500/mo — excellent runway for a high savings rate.
  • Medellín, Colombia: ~$1,800–$2,800/mo — strong purchasing power with a vibrant nomad community.

Visa note: US work authorization is required (no sponsorship). International nomad visas won't apply here — you must hold existing US work eligibility. If based abroad, a US tourist/remote work framework applies only informally.
