EDI Integration Manager at ecosio - Remote Europe — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
Remote-first with serious travel perks: ecosio explicitly offers a workation allowance of up to 90 days per year within the EU — one of the most generous location-flexibility policies in European tech. This is far above the typical 30-day "workation" clauses found elsewhere, making it genuinely useful for extended slow-travel stints.
Schedule flexibility: Flexible working hours suggest a degree of async friendliness, though the role involves active customer-facing project management across global time zones. Expect some overlap requirements with European business hours, particularly for customer calls and ERP integration coordination. It is not a fully async role.
Visa considerations: The role is open across 10 European countries. EU/EEA citizens can move freely between Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Croatia and Hungary. UK-based applicants work under existing arrangements. Non-EU nationals should check specific country digital nomad visas — Portugal's D8 Nomad Visa and Spain's Digital Nomad Visa are strong options for non-EU applicants already authorized to work in the EU.
Cost-of-living context: Without a published salary, budgeting is harder, but European B2B integration specialists typically earn €50k–€80k. That goes very far in Lisbon (~€2,000/mo comfortable living) or Kraków (~€1,200/mo), and is competitive in Barcelona (~€2,500/mo). The home office allowance and personal development budget add further real value.
