Traveler-Friendly Insight

This role is remote but timezone-constrained, which is a critical factor for digital nomads. The required hours — Mon–Fri 10 AM–7 PM and Sat–Sun 8:30 AM–5:30 PM — are almost certainly US-based times (likely US Pacific or Eastern). This means you must be able to reliably cover US daytime hours, severely limiting where you can work comfortably.

Timezone reality check for popular nomad destinations:

  • Lisbon (WET/UTC+0 or +1): Mon–Fri shift would be 6–7 PM to 3–4 AM. Essentially a night shift — unsustainable long-term.
  • Bangkok (UTC+7): Shift runs midnight to 9 AM or later. Not viable.
  • Medellín (UTC-5): Best overlap — only 1 hour behind US Eastern, making this the most practical nomad base if operating on ET.

The role also requires weekend availability, which further reduces schedule flexibility. This is not an async-friendly position — real-time customer interactions with families are expected daily.

At $20–$25/hour (~$50K–$74K/year with commission), purchasing power is strong in Medellín or Mexico City, where $2,000–$3,000/month covers a comfortable lifestyle. However, the fixed schedule makes true nomadic travel across multiple time zones impractical. This role suits someone based in the Americas seeking remote work, not a globe-trotting nomad.
