Remote Enterprise Account Manager at StackAdapt USA — Columbus
Traveler-Friendly Insight
This role is tagged #LI-REMOTE, meaning it is fully remote within the USA. However, a key requirement is flexibility to travel to meet with clients, plus participation in in-person Quarterly Business Reviews and presentations — so this is not a purely location-independent role. Expect regular domestic US travel, which may conflict with long-term travel abroad.
Timezone constraints: Client-facing enterprise work in the US typically demands availability during US business hours (EST–PST overlap). There is no mention of async culture, and managing active campaigns requires real-time responsiveness. This makes it difficult to operate from significantly different time zones.
Visa considerations: Since the role is US-based remote, you must be eligible to work in the US. International nomads will find this restrictive — there is no indication of sponsorship or global entity coverage for this specific role.
Cost-of-living comparison on the $88K–$121K USD salary:
- Lisbon, Portugal: $88K USD (~€80K) provides an extremely comfortable lifestyle; rent averages €1,200–1,800/mo for a nice apartment.
- Bangkok, Thailand: Even at the lower end, $88K is roughly 7–8× the average local professional salary — exceptional purchasing power.
- Medellín, Colombia: $88K goes very far; quality housing runs $500–900/mo.
The WeWork global membership is a genuine nomad-friendly perk for coworking access, but the US work authorization requirement and client travel demands make this role best suited for US-based remote workers rather than full-time nomads.
