Turn any backpack into a camera bag. Designed to fit perfectly inside our MTW / Everything Backpacks and Totes, the Camera Insert is a perfect way to carry your essential camera kit. It also works inside most other daypacks if you want some extra protection for your camera gear. With a large side access zip and interchangeable dividers, you can set it up however you like. Carry up to a Canon 5D (no battery grip) sized camera with a 70-200mm lens and room for extras. The opening can also be left open and tucked out of the way for super quick access, especially with backpacks that have side zipper access. Unlike other large, bulky camera ICUs, this one is just big enough to carry your essential camera kit and leave room for other gear in your bag.

The gist: If you already travel with a daypack you love, this insert turns it into a padded camera bag instead of forcing you to buy a dedicated one.
- Fits real travel kits: Holds a mirrorless body with a 70-200mm lens plus 2-3 extra lenses, or several point-and-shoots — enough for most nomad content creators.
- Shockproof protection: Atilon foam walls and a scratch-resistant Velex lining cushion gear through overhead bins, tuk-tuks, and hostel dorm floors.
- Configurable dividers: Two adjustable padded dividers (removable) let you reconfigure the layout for a camera body one week, a drone the next.
- Built-in filter slots: Stores up to four 77mm filters, so ND/polarizer filters don't rattle loose in a side pocket.
Shotkit's hands-on review of Moment's Everything system found the insert “organise[s] and protect[s] your camera gear” well, though accessing the lower corner inside the 21L pack could feel “fussy” depending on how the outer bag opens.
Best for: travelers who already own (or plan to buy) a daypack and want camera protection without a dedicated camera bag. Skip it if: you shoot with a full-frame body plus a battery grip — it won't seal properly. This is an open-box unit, runs ~$51 — check the current price before buying.
