Variable ND Filters Ultimate Kit, 62mm / 62mm

Variable ND Filters Ultimate Kit — one filter set for harsh midday travel footage

The gist: A thread-matched kit that lets you hold a 180° shutter in bright sun, so travel clips stay cinematic instead of strobing.

• Variable ND leads: Moment’s variable ND filters come in a 2–5 stop and a 6–9 stop version, so one filter replaces a pouch of fixed NDs on a beach, desert or rooftop.
• Glare control: The kit adds an AntiGlare CPL to cut reflections off water, glass and wet streets.
• Soft-look option: A CineBloom Diffusion filter gives a gentle highlight glow for golden-hour city footage.
• Pocketable: The Mobile Cleaning Kit is included, and the filters are machined aluminum with Schott B270 glass per Adorama’s listings. Pick the thread size that matches your lens before you buy.

FilmDaft’s hands-on review liked the hard stops at each end of the rotation, which prevent cross-polarization, while NewsShooter noted the filters are not perfectly color neutral and can lean slightly green.

Best for: video-first travelers shooting mixed bright-light destinations. Skip it if: you only shoot stills or want a no-fuss lens cap included. Runs roughly $285–$375 depending on thread size — check the current price before buying.
