Peak Design Camera Cube V2, Medium — Carry-On Ready Cube for Traveling Photographers
The gist: A weather-sealed, ultralight camera organizer built for photographers who live out of a single carry-on and need their gear instantly accessible.
- Weatherproof Shell: 100% recycled 160D nylon canvas with seam-taped weatherproofing and weatherproof #8 Ultra Zip zippers keep your camera protected through rain, humidity, and dusty transit hubs.
- Carry-On Friendly Weight: At just 400g without dividers, the cube adds minimal overhead to your pack weight — a genuine win for strict airline weight limits.
- Flexible Interior Organization: FlexFold hook-and-loop dividers let you reconfigure the 13L (29 x 29 x 13.5 cm internal) cavity around lenses, a mirrorless body, and accessories as your kit evolves.
- Direct Backpack Access: Dual side zips connect seamlessly to the side compartments of the Peak Design 45L Travel Backpack, plus C-Clips allow secure external attachment to other bags.
According to Digital Camera World, the cube performs best with compact mirrorless systems — photographers carrying larger DSLRs or bulkier lenses may find the 13.5 cm internal depth a tight fit.
Best for: Mirrorless-shooting travel content creators and frequent flyers who need modular, weatherproof camera storage inside a single carry-on bag. Skip it if: The floating mesh pocket inside lacks any closure mechanism (the V1 had a Velcro strip), so small accessories can fall out during transport — a notable regression from the previous version flagged by multiple reviewers.
