M-Series | 37mm Cine CPL Filter

$5

A pro quality filter at a fair price. The Moment 37mm CPL works on your big camera or your phone with our 37mm Filter Mount.

Circular Polarizer (CPL) filters are kinda like a magic trick of a filter. Once you use one, you’ll wonder why you’ve never used one before. It makes for bluer skies, greener trees, deeper waters, and allows you to shoot through glass. It does all these magic tricks by changing the light angle bouncing off bright surfaces. Polarized light comes from light that has been reflected off of something. It can come from light reflecting off an alpine lake, reflections from a coffee shop window, or even light reflecting off moisture and pollution in the atmosphere. Polarized light is made up of scattered light rays and is something you don’t want in your shot. The CPL Phone Filter filters out this polarized light, leaving you with an awesome image that you can’t replicate post-production.

Our Review

Moment M-Series 37mm Cine CPL Filter — The One Filter That Makes Outdoor Travel Shots Pop

The gist: A cinema-quality circular polarizer that cuts haze, deepens sky blue, and lets you shoot through water or glass — a single compact filter that solves multiple outdoor photography problems you can’t fix in post.

  • Eliminates polarized glare: Cuts reflections from lakes, oceans, and windows — shoot through a tide pool surface or a café window without washing everything out.
  • Richer colors in-camera: Bluer skies, greener foliage, more saturated water — the polarizing effect is one thing that Lightroom presets can’t replicate after the fact.
  • B270 cinema glass: Hydrophobic and scratch-resistant coating survives sandy, humid travel environments; a rotating aluminum bezel lets you dial in the polarization angle.
  • Standard 37mm thread: Works with any 37mm filter mount, and the lightweight aluminum frame adds minimal bulk to your phone kit.

PetaPixel noted when Moment launched the filter that its cinema-grade B270 glass and hydrophobic coating make it a serious tool — “not just a fashion accessory” — capable of results that post-processing cannot replicate.

Best for: Travel photographers who shoot outdoors near water, glass, or in hazy conditions and want richer in-camera colors without heavy editing. Skip it if: You shoot indoors or in flat lighting — a CPL has minimal benefit without a directional light source. Runs ~$5 (open-box / archive) — check the current price before buying.
